Profile

Ji Wu received the B.E. degree in automation from the Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), Hefei, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in control science and technology from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, in 2018.  From 2016 to 2017, he was a Guest Ph.D. Student with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark.

He has been a lecturer and an associate professor with the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, HFUT, since 2018 and 2022, respectively, where he leads the Collaborative Energy Transportation Laboratory (CETL) at the Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Transportation and Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure.

Dr. Wu is an editorial board member of Elsevier journal e-Prime, and has served as the session chair for IEEE ICARM 2020, IEEE I&CPS Asia 2023, and 2024-ECCE Asia. He was selected into the first batch of the Anhui Association for Science and Technology Young Scientists Support Program (2020-2023) and the World's Top 2% Scientists List by Stanford University (2024), and won a first prize for teaching achievements in Anhui Province (2023). His research interests include the modeling, control, and optimization of complex systems, including battery energy storage systems, electric vehicles, and microgrids.

Name of Research Group:Intelligent Management and Control Laboratory for New Energy Power System
Description of Research Group:面向智能网联新能源运载装置及其动力系统的管控需求,交通能源协同控制团队基于复杂系统建模仿真、状态估计和优化控制的理论、方法开展基础理论研究和共性技术攻关等工作,积累了大量的原创性成果。团队目前共有研究员1人、副教授/副研究员3人、讲师/ 助理教授4人,依托安徽省智慧交通车路协同工程研究中心、安徽省新能源汽车产业共性技术研究中心建有交通能源协同控制实验室,拥有电池实验设备原值约500万元;获省部级奖励6项,获批国家自然科学基金4项、省部级和企业合作项目50余项;发表学术论文80余篇,实审、授权发明专利50余项;成员近年来获批安徽省战略新兴产业技术领军人才、安徽省科协青年科技人才托举计划等人才项目奖励;研发的电池管理系统通过安徽省新产品认证,并在奇瑞新能源、安凯客车、苏州金龙等企业的乘用车和商用车中推广应用。
