Profile
Ji Wu received the B.E. degree in automation from the Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), Hefei, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in control science and technology from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, in 2018. From 2016 to 2017, he was a Guest Ph.D. Student with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark.
He has been a lecturer and an associate professor with the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering, HFUT, since 2018 and 2022, respectively, where he leads the Collaborative Energy Transportation Laboratory (CETL) at the Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Transportation and Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure.
Dr. Wu is an editorial board member of Elsevier journal e-Prime, and has served as the session chair for IEEE ICARM 2020, IEEE I&CPS Asia 2023, and 2024-ECCE Asia. He was selected into the first batch of the Anhui Association for Science and Technology Young Scientists Support Program (2020-2023) and the World's Top 2% Scientists List by Stanford University (2024), and won a first prize for teaching achievements in Anhui Province (2023). His research interests include the modeling, control, and optimization of complex systems, including battery energy storage systems, electric vehicles, and microgrids.
