Guo Dan, Ph.D., Professor/Doctoral Supervisor, Anhui Province Distinguished Young Scholar. She received her Ph.D. in Systems Analysis and Integration from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in June 2010. In July 2010, she joined the School of Computer and Information Engineering at Hefei University of Technology, initially conducting postdoctoral research in data mining, and subsequently became a faculty member at the Institute of Multimedia Computing. Her current research interests primarily focus on machine learning, deep learning, pattern recognition, and multimedia computing. She has published over 100 academic papers, including 105 papers in prestigious ACM/IEEE transactions such as IEEE TPAMI, IJCV, and TIP, as well as top-tier CCF-A category conferences including CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, and ACM MM (among these, 68 papers are as first author or corresponding author). She has served as principal investigator or key participant in numerous research projects, including projects under the National Key R&D Program of China, sub-projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Key Program), NSFC General Program, NSFC Youth Program, and the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation.

1.MAC 2024: ACM Multimedia 2024 Micro-Action Analysis Challenge,Challenge Initiator
The 1st MAC Challenge was successfully held at ACM MM 2024, attracting more than 40 teams worldwide.
The goal of MAC (Micro-Action Analysis Challenge) is to advance human behavior understanding through full-body micro-actions, promoting the development of deep psychological assessment and human emotional state analysis technologies. MAC includes two tracks: Micro-Action Recognition (MAR) track 和 Multi-label Micro-Action Detection (MMAD) track.

The 2nd SVC (Subtle Visual Computing) Challenge was successfully held at CVPR 2026, attracting over 140 teams globally.
SVC aims to bring together researchers worldwide to address key challenges in subtle visual signal detection and analysis, including difficulties in representation learning and insufficient generalization ability across tasks and modalities. It promotes real-world applications in security, healthcare, industry, affective computing, and related fields.SVC consists of two tracks:
