Ye Yu received her Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and Technology from the Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), Hefei, China, in May 2010. In June 2010, she joined the School of Computer and Information, HFUT, where she is currently an Associate Professor. She was a Visiting Scholar with the University of North Texas, and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her research interests include computer vision, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. She is a member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG).
She participated in the "Research on Key Technologies of Intelligent Identification and Correlation Comparison of Operating Vehicles and Drivers" and won the first prize of Anhui Traffic Science and Technology Progress Award; She won the titles of ACM MM 2023, ICCV 2023, ECCV 2022, CVPR2021, ICME2020 and other challenges, the outstanding reviewer of journal of image and graphics in 2023, the CCF-CV service contribution award in 2020, the special teaching award of the school and the outstanding class teacher of HFUT. She hosted many projects such as the General & Youth Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the General Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province, the key scientific and technological projects of Anhui Province, the provincial natural science research projects of Anhui Province, and the projects cooperated with companies. She obtained more than 20 Chinese invention patents and 2 utility model patents, and published more than 50 academic papers on ITS, TCSVT, ECCV and some Chinese famous journals such as Acta Automatica Sinica. She was the peer reviewers of Some Chinese and English Journals and Conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, ISPRS Journal of Photography and Remote Sensing, Image and Vision Computing, Chinese journal of computers, acta automatica sinica and journal of image and graphics.

- Description of Research Group:The lab consists of professors and associate professors from the School of Computer, Software and Instrumentation, HFUT.
