Ye Yu is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering/ School of Artificial Intelligence, Hefei University of Technology (HFUT), Hefei, China. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and Technology from HFUT in May 2010. In June 2010, she joined the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, HFUT. She was a Visiting Scholar with the University of North Texas, and the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Her research interests include computer vision, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. She is a member of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and the China Society of Image and Graphics (CSIG). She has published more than 40 research papers (IEEE ITSs, TCVST, Acta Automatica Sinica, etc.), and has obtained 18 national invention patents, 2 national utility model patents, more than 20 software copyright registration. She participated in the "Research on Key Technologies of Intelligent Identification and Correlation Comparison of Operating Vehicles and Drivers" and won the first prize of Anhui Provincial Transportation Science and Technology Progress Award; She won the titles of challenges such as ECCV 2022, CVPR2021 and ICME2020, CCF-CV service contribution award in 2020, special prize for college teaching and so on.
