Shengeng Tang, a lecturer and master's supervisor, serves as the Secretary-General of Computer Vision Professional Committee, Anhui Association for Artificial Intelligence. His research areas include sign language translation and generation, video understanding and analysis, and cross-media intelligent reasoning. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Hunan Normal University in 2017. From 2017 to 2022, he pursued a joint Master-Ph.D. program in Computer Application Technology at Hefei University of Technology (supervised by Professor Richang Hong), earning his Doctorate in Engineering in December 2022. Since February 2023, he has been a lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Hefei University of Technology.

He has published several papers in top international journals and conferences such as ACM MM, IJCAI, IEEE TIP, and IEEE TMM. He has contributed to one English academic monograph, applied for seven Chinese invention patents (two granted and five under substantive examination), and registered three software copyrights. He has participated in one key project and two general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, serving as a reviewer for international journals and conferences like CVPR, ICCV, AAAI, ACM MM, ACM CHI, ECCV, ACCV, IEEE TMM, ACM TOMM, Neural Networks, and Neurocomputing.

He is currently part of the Laboratory of Media Computing (LMC) at the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering (School of Artificial Intelligence), Hefei University of Technology. The team's research includes pattern recognition and artificial intelligence, computer vision understanding and generation, multimedia analysis, and cross-media reasoning.
