Abstract:This letter investigates the joint subcarrier assignment and power allocation (JSAPA) problem in an uplink multicarrier non-orthogonal multiple access (MC-NOMA) hybrid device-to-device (D2D) and cellular networks. Considering the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) effects in the multicarrier network, our target is to maximize the sum data rate of D2D pairs subject to the constraints of the user power budget, power limitation on per-subcarrier, and the quality of service (QoS) requirement of each cellular user. To solve the non-convex JSAPA problem, we provide a polyblock algorithm by exploiting the hidden monotonic structure of objective functions and constraints to acquire the optimized result. Simulation results demonstrate our proposed scheme is better than the other methods.
