Jian Liu is an Associate Professor / Master Supervisor in the School of Computer and Information of Hefei University of Technology.He received 

his PhD degree from Donghua University in 2017, and was funded by the State Scholarship Council of the Ministry of Education of China to study

 in Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) as a state-appointed joint-training doctoral student. In 

recent years he is mainly engaged in the research and application of machine learning algorithms, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), 

Biomedical Informatics, Trustworthy Machine Learning and Scientific Intelligence (AI4Science). He has presided over and participated in more 

than 10 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China's Youth Fund, international cooperation projects, Shanghai Excellent Academic 

Leader Program projects, and company's lateral projects, and has cumulatively published more than 30 academic papers and applied for more than 

10 invention patents.
