Her research interests focus on safe and energy-efficient control of single-pedal driving modes and trajectory planning and tracking for autonomous vehicles. She has led several research projects, including the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, and the University-level Young Faculty Research and Innovation Program. She has also participated in major provincial projects such as the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Major Project and the Anhui New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Program. She has published 14 academic papers in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, and Control Engineering Practice, and holds 7 authorized invention patents. She serves as a reviewer for journals including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, Neural Computing and Applications, and Proceedings of the IMechE, Part D: Journal of Automobile Engineering. She has received the Second Prize of the Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
