摘要:In mixed traffic flow environments on expressways consisting of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) and connected human-driven vehicles (CHVs), it is believed that traffic efficiency can be improved by setting CAV dedicated lanes (CDLs). However, in the diversion area of the expressway, the implementation of CDLs requires CAVs with the demand of entering off-ramp on CDL (CAVD) to frequently change lanes, which may lead to traffic flow instability and congestion. To address this issue, this paper proposes a macro-micro cooperative lane-changing control (MCLC) method that utilizes lane-changing zone control and CAV mandatory lane-changing rules to alleviate traffic congestion caused by frequent lane-changing behaviors under the implementation of CDLs. At the macro level, a cooperative control strategy for graded lane-changing and lane-changing decision point of CAVD (CCGDP) is introduced to determine the lane-changing position of CAVD. At the micro level, a mandatory lane-changing rule based on speed adjustment (MLBSA) is provided to control the lane-changing behavior of CAVD. Simulation results show that the proposed MCLC method can reduce traffic risk and fuel consumption, and effectively improve the success rates of lane-changing for CAVD and space mean speed.
