I received the B.S. and Ph.D.degrees in computer science from Hefei Universityof Technology, Hefei, China, in 2002 and 2008,respectively. I am currently a professor at Hefei University of Technology, where I teach within the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering. I am the Deputy Director of the Anhui Province Key Laboratory of Industry Safety and Emergency Technology, Hefei University of Technology. I was an academic visitor (supervised by Prof. Xin Yao) in the School of Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom from September 2015 to September 2016. My research is focused on the areas of multiagent systems, evolutionary computation, and search-based software engineering., and my projects are mainly founded by National Natural Science Foundation of China. I am a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Chinese Association of Automation (ACC), and I am also a grant reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. I have published over 60 research papers.
