Na Xia, male, born in 1979, from Wuhu County, Anhui Province, China. The bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering was obtained in 2001, and the Ph.D. in Signal & Information Processing was earned in 2005, with a promotion to associate professor in the same year at Hefei University of Technology. In 2008, he served as a torchbearer for the Beijing Olympic Games. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Houston (UH) in the United States from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, he was promoted to professor and doctoral supervisor. He is a senior member of IEEE, ACM, and CCF, serving as the executive director of the Anhui Institute of Electronics and the vice president of the Anhui Satellite Applications & Development Association.

Teaching Experience
He teaches the provincial-level MOOC demonstration course "Information Theory and Coding" and has edited four textbooks. The unique teaching method of "passion + logic + research sharing" is very popular among students. He won the first prize in the 2004 university lecture competition (first place), the "Teaching New Star" in Anhui Province in 2010, an award in the first National College Young Teacher Teaching Competition in 2012, the Fok Ying Tung Young Teacher Award in 2012, and the title of Anhui Provincial Teaching Master in 2019. As the head of a national-level first-class major, he has carried out a series of teaching research and reforms, with related achievements winning 1 special prize, 2 first prizes, and 1 second prize in Anhui Province's teaching achievement awards. He has guided university students to participate in various types of academic competitions, winning one gold medal and two silver medals in the National "Chuang Qingchun" College Student Entrepreneurship Competition, two second prizes in the National "Challenge Cup" College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, and two first prizes in the National Graduate Electronic Design Competition. In 2016, the university student team he guided was awarded the honorary title of the National Xiaoping Science and Technology Innovation Team. In 2015, he won the first prize of the inaugural "Tongze Excellent Gardener Award," with a prize of 1.2 million yuan (RMB), setting the highest reward for teachers in Chinese universities.
Academic Experience
The major research areas include BeiDou navigation information processing, underwater sensor networks, and computational intelligence & applications. He has led more than 30 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education's "New Century Excellent Talent Support Program," the Anhui Province Distinguished Young Scholars Fund, and major science and technology projects in Anhui Province. His research achievements have won the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress (ranked 1) in Anhui Province in 2021, the Second Prize of Natural Science in Anhui Province in 2010 (ranked 2), the Second Prize of Science and Technology in Shaanxi Province in 2016 (ranked 4), the First Prize of Science and Technology from the Zhejiang Communications Society in 2022 (ranked 2), the Anhui Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2010, the Ma Yisheng Science and Technology Award in 2018, and the First Prize of Science and Technology in Yan'an City in 2015. He has been granted 35 authorized invention patents, published one monograph, and co-authored two works. He has published more than 120 papers in journals such as IEEE Trans. on Mobile Computing, IEEE Trans. on Vehicular Technology, ACM Trans. on Sensor Networks, Chinese Journal of Computers, Journal on Communications, Acta Automatica Sinica, Acta Electronica Sinica, and at international conferences like GLOBECOM. Since 2014, through the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, he has generated an economic benefit of 522 million yuan (RMB).
