Sun Rui, born in February 1976, holds a doctoral degree and is a professor at the School of Computer Science and Information Technology.
He is a member of the Anhui Electronics Society, a senior member of the China Electronics Society, and a member of the China Computer
Society.Graduated from Communication Engineering at Central South University in 1998 and Communication and Information Systems at Harbin
Engineering University in 2000, with a Master's degree in Engineering. Graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology
in December 2003 with a PhD in Information and Communication Engineering. Since 2006, he has been a teacher at the School of Computer
Science and Information at Hefei University of Technology. From September 2010 to September 2019, he was a visiting scholar in the
Department of Computer Science at the University of Missouri, Columbia. From May 2012 to August 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral
researcher at Chery Automotive's postdoctoral workstation.
Mainly engaged in teaching and research in computer vision and machine learning, intelligent information processing, and unmanned
systems.
Research Achievements: Led one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund, one General Fund, the Ministry of Education Research
Initiation Fund for Returned Scholars, two key research and development projects in Anhui Province, one General Project of the China
Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and one Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation. Participated in National Natural Science Foundation
projects and multiple key national defense technology innovation projects. Published over 60 academic papers and obtained 15 authorized
invention patents.
