Prof. Kaile Zhou is mainly engaged in research work related to data analysis and intelligent decision-making, and smart management of energy & environment. In recent years, he has presided over key special project, excellent youth science fund project, general project, youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China  (NSFC), as well as major science and technology project of Anhui Province, key project of Anhui Energy Internet Joint Fund. He has published 3 books in Chinese and English, published more than 80 papers in high-quality academic journals, and obtained more than 30 authorized invention patents. Prof. Zhou has won the first prize of the Ministry of Education for Outstanding Achievements in Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences) and the second prize of Anhui Province for Scientific and Technological Progress. He has been selected as "Chinese Highly Cited Research" by Elsevier and the list of the top 2% wrold top scientists by Stanford University.

Prof. Zhou is the Director of Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory of Philosophy and Social Sciences for Smart Management of Energy & Environment and Green & Low Carbon Development.
