Dr. Zhenzhen Hu is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. supervisor in the Department of Intelligent Science and Technology at the School of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Hefei University of Technology. She received her Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees from Hefei University of Technology in 2008, 2011, and 2014, respectively, under the supervision of Professors Jianguo Jiang and Richang Hong. From July 2012 to September 2014, she was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council to pursue joint Ph.D. studies as a visiting student at the National University of Singapore, under the guidance of Professor Shuicheng Yan. From January 2015 to June 2017, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, under the supervision of Professor Yonggang Wen. Since June 2017, she has been an Associate Professor at the School of Computer and Information, Hefei University of Technology.

Her research focuses on cross-modal information understanding and reasoning. She has published over 40 papers in top international journals and conferences. She has served as an editorial board member of IEEE Transactions on Multimedia and Deputy Secretary-General of the Multimedia Special Committee of the CSIG. Dr. Hu has also served as a reviewer for journals and conferences including IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications, Signal Processing, IEEE Multimedia, ACM Multimedia, CVPR, ICCV, IJCAI, AAAI, ICME, and others.
